Italian Lentil Soup Mix
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup dried green or brown lentils
- ¼ cup dried minced onions
- ¼ cup dried carrots
- ¼ cup dried celery flakes
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- 1 bay leaf (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste (add as desired)
- Instructions: Combine mix with 8 cups of water or broth. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 40-45 minutes until lentils are tender. Add salt and pepper to taste.
